Fernando Muslera completes the top eight of the oldest players. Muslera is 39 years and 360 days old.
Ivory Coast has the youngest squad at the World Cup, with an average age of 25 years and 310 days.
Yan Diomande is 19 years old and one of the best in the national team.
But the youngest player at the World Cup will be playing for Mexico. Attacking midfielder Gilberto Mora will be 17 years and 240 days old when the World Cup begins.
