Who is Switzerland's best player, according to Xhaka?

Many Swiss legends share the opinion that Granit Xhaka is the best player in Swiss history.

Xhaka appreciates the opinions of the legends. He says that the appreciation gives him great motivation for further achievements.

"Of course, it means a lot to me. Off the field there are always people who love you more or less. But hearing this from former players and teammates is a joy. It gives me motivation and will to achieve something great again," Xhaka told "Blue Sport".

But Xhaka himself refuses to give any names.

"There are a lot of good team players who have played during my time. It's difficult to choose one. I'm not a fan of individual awards, but more of a team player. People should be able to judge and choose someone. But I'm not one of those who would do that," says Xhaka.

Among the legends who chose Xhaka as the best are Dominique Herr, Erni Maissen, Alexandre Rey, Karl Engel, Sani Gygax and Admir Mehmedi.
