Norway striker Alexander Sorloth has faced abuse on social media following Norway's elimination from the World Cup.
His girlfriend, Lena Selnes, has published numerous comments made on Instagram, including death threats and calls for suicide.
Norway lost 2-1 to England, while Sorloth was criticized by many fans for a pass he didn't make to Erling Haaland, who was in a good position. But many commentators crossed the line.
It is not the first time that a footballer has faced death threats after an episode at the World Cup.

"The World Cup and football bring a lot of joy, but also a lot of hatred. I actually didn't want to pay attention to these things, but after comments like these, I felt I had to. I hope everyone thinks twice before writing such comments, regardless of the situation," Lena Selnes wrote in her Instagram post.
