The Netherlands has scored a victory in the dramatic match against Uzbekistan.
The Netherlands defeated Uzbekistan in a friendly match with a score of 2:1 on Monday night.
Cody Gakpo scored both goals in the victory for the Netherlands. He even scored the 2-1 goal in the 98th minute, six minutes after Uzbekistan scored the equalizer.
Gakpo scored both goals from the penalty spot. The first in the 32nd minute. Guus Til of the Netherlands was sent off in the 87th minute.
Igor Sergeev scored the goal for Uzbekistan.
The Netherlands is in a group with Japan, Sweden and Tunisia, while Uzbekistan will have to deal with Portugal, Congo and Colombia in the World Cup.
