Soccer star Neymar Junior was absent from Brazil's opening World Cup match against Morocco. Brazil drew 1-1 with Morocco in the match that was valid for Group C.
The 34-year-old has a calf injury and has also missed Brazil's friendlies against Egypt and Panama.
Midfielder Fabinho hopes Neymar returns as soon as possible and helps Brazil.
He has said that Neymar is very important for Brazil.
"Neymar is important both on and off the field. He was with us in the dressing room, helping and talking to his teammates and has shown leadership and strong character. We hope he returns as soon as possible," said the Al-Ittihad player.
Neymar could play in the second group match against Haiti on June 20.
