The Spanish national team will be able to count on Lamine Yamali and Nico Williams from the start of the 2026 World Cup. The news was confirmed on Wednesday by coach Luis de la Fuente.
"We have coordinated perfectly with the clubs and the players have improved day by day," he said.
Spain relies more on Yamal, who was in excellent form even at Euro 2024, when Spain triumphed.
"If everything goes according to plan, Yamali could play on June 15," the Spanish coach said.
Spain starts the 2026 World Cup against Cape Verde. They are also in the group with Saudi Arabia and Uruguay.
