The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced that he has removed two senior Ukrainian generals, calling them "anti-heroes", in his address posted on social networks, CNN reports.
"Today another decision was made regarding anti-heroes. I don't have time now to deal with all the traitors. But gradually everyone will be punished", said Zelensky.
The generals – former head of the Main Department of Internal Security in the Security Service of Ukraine, Andriy Naumov Olehovych, and former head of the Kherson Region Office of the Security Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Kryvoruchko Oleksandrovych – have been demoted.
"Ordinary generals have no place here!" - said Zelensky.
