The Prime Minister of Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, has congratulated his Montenegrin counterpart Dushko Markovic and the citizens for the country's accession to NATO, noting that its membership shows that the Alliance's doors remain open, and will motivate the Macedonian government to meet democratic standards and modernize of the army on the road to NATO.
"The example of Montenegro confirms that if there is political will and a high level of citizen awareness of the importance of reform processes, then it will be realized with the necessary dynamics and will open the perspective for other countries", says Zaev's congratulation .
