The Democratic candidate for president of the United States of America, Kamala Harris, announced that she has voted by mail in Detroit, saying that she trusts the system and her vote will be in California.
Before reporters, Harris on Sunday did not make many comments, saying that they are on the eve of the election, CNN reported.
"I just filled out my postal ballot. So, I voted. My ballot is on its way to California and I trust the system to get there," she added.

On the other hand, the Republicans with their candidate, Donald Trump, had expressed doubts about the postal vote system, hinting that it could be misused.

Over 1.7 million citizens have voted in Pennsylvania, while Trump has stated that there were frauds in this process. According to him, the counting of votes is going on a slow process, calling for the entire counting to be done in one day. Election officials have said the count could take several days, as it did in 2020.
On the other hand, during the campaign Harris said on Sunday that "God has plans for us and we must act according to the plans he has prepared".
