A 37-year-old mother and her 2-year-old daughter have died two days after an Afghan man drove his car into a crowd of people in Munich.
At least 37 people were injured in the attack, a number of them seriously.

Prosecutors have said the suspect appears to have had religious motives for carrying out the attack. Munich public prosecutor Gabriele Tilmann told reporters that the suspect had said "Allahu Akbar" in Arabic when he was arrested.
