The president-elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump, criticized on Thursday the use of American missiles by Ukraine for attacks inside Russian territory.

He has been critical of Joe Biden's policy reversal, which allowed Ukraine to fire US-made missiles at Russia.

"It's crazy what's happening. I don't agree with sending missiles hundreds of miles inside Russia. Why are we doing this? We are simply escalating this war and making it worse. This should not be allowed to happen," Trump told Time magazine, Reuters reported.

President Biden last month authorized the use of US missiles deep into Russia from Ukraine, when North Korea sent some 15,000 troops to the front line in support of Russia.

Trump has repeatedly said he would end the war once he takes office, though he has offered no information on how he plans to do so.
