Trump: Deal with China, job done

United States President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that the trade deal between the US and China is a done deal, following talks held in London this week, The Guardian reports.

According to him, the United States will now have access to rare earth minerals and Chinese magnets, an issue that has been continuously pushed by American officials during negotiations.

In a post on the social network "Truth Social", Trump also stated that the relationship with China is "excellent", although some time ago he had claimed that negotiations with official Beijing are not at all "easy".

"Our agreement with China is complete, now subject to final approval by President Xi and I. Complete magnets, and any rare earth minerals needed, will be supplied by China. In return, we will provide China with what was agreed upon, including Chinese students to come to our colleges and universities (which has always been a good thing for me!)," he wrote.
