Three men have been arrested in connection with the deaths of five migrants in the English Channel on Tuesday, Britain's National Crime Agency (NCA) announced.
The men have been arrested on suspicion of facilitating illegal immigration and illegal entry into the UK.
Five people, including a seven-year-old girl, died on Tuesday while trying to cross the English Channel from France to Britain in an overloaded boat with 112 people.
The three arrested are Sudanese citizens aged 22 and 19, the BBC reports.
47 people managed to be rescued on Tuesday by French authorities, while another 55 remained on board as they did not want to be identified.
