Dy prej viktimave me origjinë shqiptare ishin motër e vëlla, ndërsa viktima e tretë ishte bashkëshortja e vëllait. Trupat e tyre janë gjetur dhe nxjerrë nga rrënojat, së bashku me trupat e viktimave të tjera. Ata po qëndronin në një apartament me qira në katin e parë të ndërtesës.
The other victims are an American tourist and an elderly Greek woman and her British husband, who were the owners of the building.
The explosion occurred in the Plaka area, in central Athens, near some of the most popular tourist attractions, including the Acropolis and the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
About 30 firefighters participated in the search operation, who also used special cameras to locate people trapped under the rubble.
