The Russian military has carried out another massive drone attack in several parts of Ukraine.
In the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa, two people were killed after drone strikes hit a residential building and several health facilities, including a hospital, officials said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also claimed that 13 people were injured as a result of this attack.
An attack was also carried out in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, injuring at least four people and damaging large parts of seven of the city's 7 districts, the BBC reported.
According to Zelensky, Russia had launched approximately 315 drones overnight across the country.
The overnight attack "was one of the largest attacks in Kiev," the Ukrainian president wrote on social media.
According to Zelensky, other parts of the country, such as the Dnipro and Chernihiv regions, have also been targeted by attacks.
These developments follow the massive drone attacks of a few days ago also launched by Russia towards Ukraine, which served as a response to official Kiev's attacks inside Russian territory.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a phone call a few days ago with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, had vowed to retaliate for the attacks.
Moscow and Kiev returned to the negotiating table for the first time in more than three years, but apart from an agreement on the exchange of prisoners of war, there has been no visible progress.
