At least 430 people have been killed and 3,500 injured in the Islamic Republic of Iran since the start of the conflict with Israel last week, the Nour news agency reported, citing the Iranian Health Ministry.

This is the first official update on the death toll in Iran in several days.

Last Sunday, Iran's Health Ministry announced that at least 224 people had been killed, while a human rights group put the unofficial death toll at 657.

Meanwhile, the death toll in Israel during the same period has reached 25.
