At least 161 people are still missing in a single Texas county four days after deadly and devastating floods hit parts of the state last week, Governor Greg Abbott said, as hope of finding them alive is fading.
The missing in hard-hit Kerr County include five campers and a staff member from Camp Mystic, a Christian girls' summer camp located on the banks of the Guadalupe River.

Texas isn't alone. New Mexico was also hit by flash flooding, with the National Weather Service (NWS) warning of severe flooding Tuesday evening.
Abbott has said it is likely that more missing people will be added to the list in the coming days and urged people to report anyone they think is missing.
Rescue teams from various agencies are working together on the rescue efforts, including agents from the Border Patrol, the FBI and the National Guard.
More than 250 relief teams from various agencies have been assigned to the Kerrville area alone to assist in search and rescue.
