Trump's special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, has said that new talks to reach a ceasefire in Ukraine will begin on Sunday in Saudi Arabia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin disagreed with the US proposal for a full 30-day ceasefire in his phone call with Trump, but both sides agreed to continue talks, the BBC reports.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz will again lead the American delegation.
Speaking to Fox News, Witkoff did not specify whether a Ukrainian delegation would be at the talks.
