Brenton Tarrant - the self-proclaimed white supremacist - accused of killing 51 people and injuring dozens more at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, on March 15, 2019, will be jailed for life.
The 29-year-old admitted his guilt at his trial.
The judge said that the Australian Tarrant did "inhumane" actions, and had shown no "mercy" at all.
The attack in New Zealand shocked the world.
"Your crimes were so bad that even if you were sentenced to death, that would not exhaust the requirements for your sentence," said Judge Cameron Mander.
"You're not just a murderer, you're a terrorist," he continued.

This remains the first life sentence case as New Zealand does not have a life sentence in its justice system.
The Christchurch attacks have been described as New Zealand's deadliest mass shooting.
