Students in Austria have set up a camp at the University of Vienna to show solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
Protesting students have called on Austria to boycott Israel on the eve of an offensive in Rafah, AP reports.
The camp was set up on Monday, while similar protests have spread in the US and other European countries.
The University of Vienna and the main Austrian Student Union have distanced themselves from the protest.
The union released a statement on Tuesday saying anti-Semitic groups were among those calling for the protest.
The protesters have refused to confirm whether they are still students at the university.
In recent days, students have held protests or set up camps in Finland, Denmark, Italy, Spain, France and Britain, following earlier protests on US campuses.
