The coronavirus epidemic in Slovenia has ended today. This was said in the press conference of the Government of this country, however some protective measures will remain in force.
As the media in Slovenia report, wearing a mask will remain an obligation for citizens in closed spaces, as well as keeping disinfectants in premises and at a distance.
"Today is the end of the epidemic in Slovenia. The epidemiological situation in Slovenia is good. For this, all those who have respected the measures and who have decided to be vaccinated are deserving", said the spokeswoman of the Government of Slovenia, Maja Bratush.
In Slovenia, there are still 122 citizens hospitalized due to COVID-19, while 40 of them are in intensive care.
