United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterres will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday, CNN reported Wednesday.
The UN spokesman, Farhan Haq, said that Guterres traveled from Poland to Ukraine on Wednesday and has already arrived in Kiev, where, in addition to Zelensky, he will also meet with the Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, on Thursday.
"We expect him to address the media after the meeting," said Haq, referring to Guterres.
Haq has not announced when Guterres and Zelensky will meet.
The Secretary General was received on Tuesday night by the Polish President, Andrzej Duda.
"The secretary has expressed his deepest appreciation for the president and the generosity of Polish citizens for the way he opened his doors and hearts to almost millions of Ukrainian refugees," said Haq.

Guterres stayed in Moscow on Tuesday, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He asked during the meeting to stop the war in Ukraine.
