The United States Central Command (Centcom) has announced that it has detained an Iranian cargo ship that attempted to violate the blockade of all Iranian ports. The US has imposed a blockade on ships entering and leaving Iranian ports, reports the BBC.
Centcom said the ship was stopped on Tuesday after it had departed from the Iranian coastal city of Bandar Abbas and was exiting through the Strait of Hormuz.
