The US President, Donald Trump, has declared that the countries that want the US to stay in Syria will have to pay to continue the US military presence there.
Kingdom officials have indicated they want the US to stay, President Trump said, adding that he has told them they will have to pay to continue US operations, koha.net reports.
"Saudi Arabia is very interested in our decision, and I said, 'well, you want us to stay, maybe you should pay,'" President Trump told reporters at the White House. Trump has added that the US presence in Syria is very costly and helps other countries more than the US itself.
