Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu on Sunday to talk about closer military cooperation, according to the Kremlin.
Putin has said that the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping was very productive and relations between China and Russia are going well in all areas, including the military department, the Kremlin said.
The video of the meeting showed the two of them shaking hands before sitting down at the table, writes CNN.
Putin has said that military cooperation is a strong point in the relationship between the two countries.
Before he started his trip, Li said that Moscow and Beijing "have very strong relations".
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was also present at the meeting.
