A video has been released by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent who fatally shot a woman in Minneapolis on Wednesday. The footage shows the moments before the gunshots were heard.
The 47-second video, obtained by local outlet Alpha News, shows Renee Nicole Good standing behind the wheel of her car and communicating with the ICE agent. The footage was also shared by US Vice President JD Vance, who said the agent acted in self-defense. Meanwhile, local authorities have insisted that the woman posed no threat.

Letter to the Reader — Why We're Asking for Your Support ContributeGoode was married to a woman. She paid tribute to Goode, saying they were both trying to help neighbors when the incident occurred. Her death has sparked protests in several cities across the United States.
The Trump administration has stated that Good was blocking the road and obstructing the work of ICE agents.
The video shows the agent getting out of the car and filming Good's vehicle as it drives around him. A dog is also seen in the backseat of the car. At one point, Good is heard telling the agent, "It's okay, buddy. I'm not mad at you."
Another woman, believed to be his wife, is seen filming the incident on her phone and telling the agent that the car's license plates are not changed every day, adding provocative comments to him.
Another agent is also seen approaching the car and, using abusive language, asking Good to get out of the car. The agent who was filming positions himself in front of the car as it begins to reverse.
In a few chaotic seconds, Good turns the wheel and drives the car forward. The camera pans skyward, shouting can be heard, then gunshots. At the end of the video, the car is seen pulling off the road, while the agent is heard cursing.
