Poland Arrests Several Suspects of Russian-Directed Sabotage

Donald Tusk

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said three people had been arrested on suspicion of links to foreign-sponsored sabotage, adding that nine others had already been arrested earlier.

Tusk has spoken to the media about the steps his government is taking to protect Poland against hostile activities, including incidents linked to Russian intelligence services.

Tusk has said that nine people have been imprisoned on suspicion of being directly involved in acts of sabotage in Poland, on the orders of the Russian services.

He added that other countries, especially Lithuania and Latvia, are threatened by sabotage and provocation.
