A Thai woman was trapped by a 20-kilogram python for about two hours in her home before the rescue team freed her.
64-year-old Arom Arunroj was bitten several times by the snake, which had entered her home in Bangkok. She described feeling the first bite.
"I looked at it and it was a snake", she said.
Arom added that he tried to fight the snake and called for help, but no one heard him.
At one point she grabbed the snake's head in the hope that it would release it, but "it didn't, instead it continued to squeeze me, wrapping its body around me."
A neighbor later heard and ran for help after about two hours had passed.

The 4-meter python was found wrapped around her waist. Arom was taken to the hospital. Pythons are not poisonous, but their bites can cause infection. They kill their prey by wrapping the body around them and suffocating them.
