The Pentagon says that today's attack by Iran was "twice" the size of the one in April

Patrick Ryder - Pentagon

The Pentagon has said that today's attack by Iran on Israel was about "twice as large" as that of April, in terms of the ballistic missiles used, "BBC" reports.

At the press conference, Major General Patrick Ryder said that two US warships fired a dozen neutralizing missiles in the direction of the Iranian missiles.

He did not confirm whether they hit any of the missiles used in the attack, adding that the information has not yet been provided.

The US has claimed that around 200 ballistic missiles were launched on Tuesday. And in the April attack, Iran had launched over 300 drones and missiles.
