A Russian-owned superyacht worth more than 530 million euros has been seized by Italian police in the port of Trieste as part of a global crackdown on wealthy oligarchs.
The yacht Sy A is owned by billionaire Andrey Melnichenko, 50, who made a fortune in fertilizer production and coal power.
It was seized on Friday evening, the BBC reports.
Designed by Philippe Starck and built by Nobiskrug in Germany, the vessel is the largest sailing yacht in the world.
The images show police cars approaching the three-masted yacht and officers boarding it.
