Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said the war is not over and said Israel must remain vigilant.
Netanyahu held a press conference in Jerusalem. He said that although "Israel has been saved from complete annihilation, the war is not over."
"We must remain vigilant and protect ourselves as much as necessary," Netanyahu said, the BBC reported.
Netanyahu then said that Israel "will remain in the security zone for as long as necessary."
"Israel is stronger than ever and the Iranian axis of evil is weaker than ever," he added.
Netanyahu said there are some times when he and US President Donald Trump do not agree on everything, but added that he will defend Israel's interests.
Netanyahu said he is committed to ensuring people have security in northern Israel, which borders Lebanon.
