A drone strike in Moscow caused minor damage to several buildings, officials said.
The mayor of the capital city, Sergei Sobyanin, said that there were no serious injuries. "Emergency services were at the scene," he said.
Air defenses shot down several drones as they approached the Russian capital, officials said.
It is not yet clear where the drones came from.
Images posted on social media showed smoke in the sky. Several others showed broken windows.
