Thousands of Hungarians gathered in the streets of Budapest on Thursday in support of their leader, Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
The rally, called a "peace march" by organizers, chanted slogans in support of Orban and his message that Hungary is in danger of becoming directly involved in Russia's war in Ukraine.

Another said that Orbán is the only politician in Hungary capable of protecting the interests of the state.
Orban, considered the Russian president's closest partner, has consistently spoken out against the West's support for Ukraine.
Despite the positions of other EU states, Orbán has maintained close relations with the Kremlin and a tougher stance towards Kiev.
