Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has jokingly stated that she would "kill someone" if she had to give up smoking.
She made this statement during an informal meeting on the sidelines of the Gaza summit in Egypt, after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan mentioned to her quitting smoking, The Telegraph reported on Tuesday.
"I have to get you to stop smoking," he told Meloni, as British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron laughed in the background. The latter even said "it's impossible."
"I know, I know. I don't want to kill anyone," Meloni replied.
The Italian Prime Minister recently announced that she has started smoking after a 13-year break.
