Bars and restaurants are closed, Scottish waiters "attack" the Parliament with ice cubes

Bar and restaurant workers in Scotland have thrown a huge pile of ice cubes outside the Scottish Parliament.

This was done in the form of a protest for their re-closing as part of the measures against the coronavirus, reports A2.

The Scottish Government has ordered the closure of bars, restaurants and pubs until October 25, allowing them to only serve takeaway food or drink.

"We don't know what will happen to us. We got through the first wave badly because we didn't work, now they shut us down again. Will we be working for Christmas and New Years? We don't know anything," said a restaurant employee.
