Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has denied Iran's involvement in Hamas attacks on civilians in Israel, while saying that he "kisses the hands of those who planned the attack on the Zionist regime".
As the BBC reported on Tuesday, Khamenei said that the attacks on Israel have destroyed structures "that will not be easily repaired".
"This earthquake has destroyed some critical structures (in Israel) that will not be easily repaired. The actions of the Zionist regime are to blame for this disaster," he declared.
Iran is known for financing Hamas and training the military troops of this organization, declared a terrorist organization by some Western countries.
