The president of Slovakia, Zuzana Caputova, is self-isolating after a member of her cabinet met with a person who tested positive for the coronavirus.
The president's office has announced today that the meeting with the president of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, has been canceled for this reason, Slovak media reported on Wednesday.
Other meetings until the end of the week have also been cancelled.
Slovakia is one of the European countries least affected by the pandemic.
Slovak authorities have so far registered 1.607 positive cases, while 28 people have died as a result of the virus.
