Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic has said that the price of gasoline will be capped at 1.50 euros per liter, while diesel at 1.55 euros per liter.

He added that without government measures, prices would have increased to 1.55 euros and 1.72 euros, respectively.

Croatia had previously regulated fuel prices after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, but ended the measures last July.
