Kremlin says Europe is directly involved in Ukraine war

The Kremlin official announced on Friday that European countries are increasingly involved in the war in Ukraine, referring to a warning from the Russian Defense Ministry regarding drone production sites across the continent and in Britain. 

The Russian Defense Ministry on Wednesday warned against European plans to increase drone supplies to Ukraine and published a list of factories and enterprises suspected of producing drones or drone components.

It listed facilities in Britain, Germany, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Israel and Turkey. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, now deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council, said in a post on X that the list constitutes potential targets for Russia's armed forces. 

Asked whether the Defense Ministry's publication and Medvedev's comments mean that Russia is indeed considering striking targets in Europe, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov neither confirmed nor denied.
