A 30-day moratorium on attacks on energy infrastructure in Ukraine ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin last month has "expired," the Kremlin said on Friday, The Guardian reported.
On March 18, Russia announced a partial ceasefire after a phone call between Putin and US President Donald Trump, but both Russia and Ukraine have accused each other of violating it.
"The month has really expired," said the Russian president's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov.
"During all this time, there have been no other instructions from the supreme commander, President Putin," he added.
The short moratorium was one of the few commitments Trump has obtained from Russia in his attempt to reach a ceasefire agreement in the three-year conflict.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Russia was never serious about the moratorium and that Moscow has continued to attack Ukrainian energy targets despite Putin's words.
