Kosovo strongly supports the US anti-narcotics operation in Venezuela, President Vjosa Osmani and acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti have said.
Osmani said that Kosovo stands strongly with the US and President Donald Trump, adding that Kosovo understands the impact of American determination and that the liberation of Kosovo is proof of it.
"Kosovo understands the impact of American resolve - our liberation is a testament to that. At a time when the US is confronting tyranny in Venezuela, we must all reinforce this stance, because the transatlantic community is strongest when united behind American leadership and shared values. When America leads, we stand proudly together - because our collective freedom depends on it," she wrote.
And, Kurti has emphasized that holding state actors involved in drug trafficking accountable is essential for success in the fight against this phenomenon.
"Kosovo, as a strategic ally of the US and NATO, offers full support in the fight against drug trafficking and against the violation of Western democratic values by proxy actors of opponents of these values, both in our region and beyond," he wrote on Facebook.
