North Korea has hacked the personal emails of an aide to South Korea's president, his office has confirmed to the BBC.
The hack happened on the eve of President Yoon Suk Yeol's state visit to the UK last November.
The staff member was hacked after using a personal email account for official work, the president's office said.
Hackers had access to Yoon's travel schedule.
The "Kukmin Ilbo" newspaper added that the messages sent by the president were also hacked.
But it is not known what information was stolen.
