South Korea will impose sanctions on Belarus for its support for the Russian invasion of Ukraine, CNN reports.
The South Korean Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday that the sanctions will be similar to those imposed on Russia.
In February, South Korea blocked exports to Russia.
"The government has decided today to implement export control against Belarus, because Belarus in principle is supporting the Russian occupation of Ukraine", the Ministry says.
