Israel strikes Iran's top institutions

The Israeli military said on Tuesday it had struck Iran's presidential office and the building of the country's Supreme National Security Council.

She announced that the airstrikes took place at night.

"In addition, the meeting place of the regime's highest forum, responsible for decision-making in the security field, was targeted, as well as the institution for training Iranian military officers and other key regime infrastructure," it added.

Iran did not immediately confirm the attacks.
