At 12:00 p.m., Italy stopped in tribute to all the victims of the coronavirus. The initiative, started by mayors, has been extended to hundreds of thousands of other institutions. The Italian flag at half-mast has been displayed in all public buildings, BW reports.
The Presidency of Albania was one of the first institutions that joined the mourning, on the balcony of the Square the flags were lowered to half-mast by the flag bearers. Italian embassies also joined the initiative.
So far, Italy records 11 deaths, 591 people affected by the coronavirus, while the figures are updated in the afternoon.
