Iran says it is still considering US proposal to end war

The American proposal to end the war with Iran is still being considered, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said.

In an interview, Esmail Baghaei said that Iran is sharing its views with Pakistani mediators regarding the US proposal.

Meanwhile, in a post on X, Baghaei said that the concept of negotiations requires "at least a sincere attempt to engage in discussions with the aim of resolving the dispute."

"Then, 'good faith' is needed, which means that the negotiations are not disputes; nor are they fraud, blackmail, or coercion," he wrote.
