Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi has responded to the United Kingdom by telling it not to interfere in Iran's internal affairs.
UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has said that violence against protesters must stop immediately.
"The killings and brutal violence against peaceful protesters in Iran is appalling. I have spoken to the Iranian Foreign Minister and told him directly that the Iranian government must immediately stop the violence." and ensure that British citizens are safe," she wrote.
Minister Aragchi stated that in the telephone conversation, he asked Cooper not to interfere in the internal affairs of the state.
He also asked her for Britain to protect the personnel of the Iranian embassy in London.
"If the UK cannot do this, we have no choice but to consider evacuating personnel," he said.
