(Updated 11:00) - After the release of three Israeli hostages, Israel has released 369 Palestinian prisoners.
- 10:04 - Yair Horn, Sagui Dekel-Chen and Alexander Trufanov, Israeli hostages held in Gaza since October 7, 2023, were handed over to the International Red Cross on Saturday at a ceremony in Khan Younis, as part of a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel.
They were taken out of a white van by armed Hamas men and brought to the stage to be introduced to the audience. They then spoke a few words, guided by Hamas.
The hostages appeared to be in good physical condition. Their predecessors mostly looked exhausted and noticeably thinner.
Later in the day, Israel will release 369 Palestinian prisoners. Many of them are serving life sentences.
