The Supreme Court in Great Britain on Wednesday decided to reject the plan to send immigrants to Rwanda, considering it an illegal decision.
The decision is considered a setback for the plans of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who continues to be in trouble with the issue of immigrants.
The five-person panel at Britain's highest court agreed with the Court of Appeal, which said this particular policy was inconsistent with international treaties to which Britain is a signatory.
The judges have said that they agree with the assessment of the Appeal that the decision has risked facing the refugees with persecution.
Conservatives in the Sunak party have insisted that the Rwandan scheme is key to combating illegal immigration that takes place through the English Channel in small boats. There were also Albanians on the list to be sent to Rwanda.

But Wednesday's decision ends a saga that began in April last year, when Britain signed an agreement with Rwanda to send undocumented migrants to temporary centers in that country.
The government led by Sunaku has said that it will now look for other plans, in accordance with the Supreme, to fight emigration.
