Israeli forces say they have killed 90 "terrorists" in Al-Shifa hospital

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced that it has killed 90 people it described as "terrorists", as its operations in Gaza's largest hospital, Al-Shifa, entered the third day.

In a statement on Wednesday, the IDF said that its forces, along with those of the Israeli Security Agency (ISA), "eliminated terrorists and located weapons in the hospital area, while preventing harm to civilians, patients, teams and medical equipment".

However, witnesses told CNN that some of the people in the hospital were killed and some others were injured and that their bodies were removed by Israeli forces.

The IDF has said that in addition to killing 90 "terrorists", it has interrogated more than 30 suspects in the compound and that "another 160 suspects have been transferred to Israeli territory for further interviews".

The attack of the Israeli forces on the hospital started on Monday. The IDF also said it killed at least four Hamas officials in an airstrike on Wednesday in Rafah.
